Dining Room

The Dining Room at the Crisis Center serves a hot meal between 10:30 am and 12 noon every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The meals are available for anyone. On average, about 100 meals are served each day. This results in well over 20,000 meals per year.

A dozen churches in the Salisbury area, representing different religious traditions, take turns preparing and serving the meals. They have been doing this for over 20 years.

Our volunteers beautifully illustrate the words of our Lord:
"I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, a stranger and you welcomed Me." (Matthew 25: 35)

Volunteers prepare and serve the meals.

Many people in the local community depend on the Center every week for nourishing food as well as fellowship.
