Food Pantry The Food Pantry at the Crisis Center distributes supplemental bags of groceries to families and individuals in need. Many struggling people receive food on an on-going basis. Around 40% of the people who receive items from our Pantry are children. In a year's time, over 23,000 bags of food are given out. Most of the food is donated from local churches, businesses, and other people of good will. We also purchase food from the Maryland Food Bank with funds donated for this purpose. The Food Pantry is open from 9:00 am to 11:30 am every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. People seeking help from the Pantry must bring a photo I.D., proof of their income, and a Social Security card for every member of the household.
