			Letters from the Desert / Anniversary Edition $14.00 Carlo Carretto Orbis Books 2002 Carlo Carretto, a later follower of Brother Charles, lived in the deserts of North Africa. In this classic book of meditations, he shares his experience of desert spirituality. The desert teaches the importance of silence, purification, and complete trust in the loving providence of God.

			Self Abandonment to Divine Providence $24.95 Jean-Pierre de Caussade, S.J. St. Benedict Press/TAN Books 1993 This is the book that inspired Charles de Foucauld. Fr. Caussade drew upon the teachings of St. Francis de Sales and St. John of the Cross. His book provides excellent spiritual reading for everyone. Highly recommended. This edition also contains letters written by de Caussade that help apply the principles of self abandonment to daily living.
