Donations to the Joseph House

The Joseph House depends on free-will offerings to fund the many services it provides to the poor. We share with the needy what we receive.

Receipts for your donations are gladly given upon request. The Joseph House is a non-profit and 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Please call us if you have any questions about making a donation to the Joseph House (410-742-9590).

Our Special Needs

The Joseph House Crisis Center is in need of cash donations because of the demand for housing and heating assistance. Blankets, hats, and gloves are also needed.

The Joseph House Workshop is in need of laundry detergent and household supplies.

Cash Donations

Checks can be made payable to:

The Little Sisters of Jesus and Mary
P.O. Box 1755
Salisbury, MD 21802

Every donation makes a difference. Also, please consider remembering the Joseph House in your will.

Food

Non-perishable goods are always in short supply at our Food Pantry. We usually need canned vegetables, rice, pasta, cake mixes, breakfast cereal, canned tuna and chicken, canned or packaged soups, instant mashed potatoes, Jell-O, instant coffee, cocoa, and peanut butter. Fresh produce in season is always welcome, too.

Gift cards from Giant, Super Fresh, and Food Lion supermarkets are also helpful.

Remember: food drives make excellent projects for Scout groups, neighborhood associations, school and church clubs, etc.
