Joseph House Books and Gifts

Joseph House Books and Gifts is a ministry of selling religious items to encourage people in their spiritual journey and to raise funds for our ministry to the poor.

This ministry grew out of our retail store that operated in Ocean City, Maryland, for many years (see sidebar).

Through Joseph House Books and Gifts, we bring religious goods out into community by selling at parishes, conferences, and special events.

Our inventory includes Bibles, books on a variety of spiritual topics, rosaries, religious medals, and other types of religious articles.

Joseph House by the Sea

From 1977 until 2011, we operated a book and gift store in Ocean City, Maryland. It started downtown and eventually moved to 16th Street and Philadelphia Avenue.

The store was an important part of our ministry. We met many wonderful people in Ocean City, and our volunteers were simply the best.

Declining sales and rising operating costs required us to close the store in January, 2011.

Our memories remain with us, however, and we know many seeds of grace were planted. We trust that God will help them grow and flourish.
