We have been in Ocean City, Maryland since 1977. Sr. Mary Elizabeth Gintling opened our first store, Joseph House Gifts, in downtown Baltimore in 1971.

Joseph House by the Sea carries a great selection of books and Bibles, plus gifts and religious articles. Proceeds from the sale of all merchandise are used to help the less fortunate at the Joseph House Crisis Center in Salisbury, Maryland.

Joseph House by the Sea is open year-round.

Normal business hours are from 10 am to 5 pm. We are open on the following days:

January -- March:
Fridays and Saturdays
April -- September:
Monday through Saturday
October -- December:
Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays

Other times to visit our store can often be arranged. Please give us a call at anytime.

Our store is on Philadelphia Avenue (Coastal Highway) in Ocean City, Maryland, between 16th and 17th Streets (bayside). We are next door to Layton's Restaurant, and one block south of Holy Savior Catholic Church.

A parking lot with free parking is available behind our store. We accept major credit cards.
